We chose Felix to design and coordinate plans for our new kitchen because he was professional, skilled, very friendly and made practical yet esthetic suggestions to the design. Designing a kitchen is a big and expensive project and Felix helped us take the frustrations out of it. He pays incredible attention to details and as a result we have a picture-perfect and functional kitchen just right for our needs.

Felix also has a core of talented and efficient business partners whose services we used. Dave Piccott did an unbelievable job installing the cabinets. If you choose to go with him, I recommend taking time off to watch this man employ his skills. It is a pleasure watching him work.

We also went with family run Rock Stella Stonery Inc. for the countertop. It is a company run by Very professional and knowledgeable people. The installation of the countertop was not easy due to the size and shape of our kitchen, but they kept at it relentlessly. Working with all these people gave us an opportunity to meet very nice people who contributed to our kitchen of which we are very proud.

Last but not least to mention is the man behind the drywall and electrical connections and the floor tiles and the backsplash. His name will not appear in this review but it will be forever etched with his blood and sweat in the meticulous and determined way to give his wife a perfect kitchen with love.

After visiting many kitchen showrooms and attending a few “Home Shows” to find a designer to update my 1970’s era kitchen, I read reviews on and contacted Felix at Woodpecker Kitchens for a consultation. Felix came up with a design that dramatically changed the look of our small kitchen, doubling the counter space, which we needed badly. The cabinets arrived on time and installation was not far behind. I have more floor space in the kitchen as an under the counter garbage drawer was included; i saved on cabinet space as well as I now have a two-level spice drawer. The quartz countertop and crown moulding are just beautiful. Thank you to Dave the installer for his help and sincere thanks to Felix for his work and wonderful design. I would recommend Woodpecker to all family and friends.

After seen my neighbor’s kitchen project done by Woodpecker Kitchen Designs, and seen Felix’s design for our new kitchen project, was the key reason why we decided to go with this company.

We are definitely in love with our new kitchen – Felix was able to listing to our needs, take the basic information from our vision, and developed a well thought out plan that did not compare to the designs we had seen from many other companies.

My kitchen reno was a long time dream. Originally we had placed our trust in a company that not only let us down but walked away with a very large down payment. Needless to say when we went searching for a new contractor we were very, very careful.

As you know, we visited 4 or 5 kitchen stores prior to yours, and never came away feeling knowledgeable for comfortable. A five minute visit to check out your store turned into a 90 minute learning experience. You were so helpful and informative that there was no question in our minds who we would choose to help design and install our new kitchen.
